A boutique photo studio for the modern romantic, built for couples who read the room in fashion, not only in flowers.
Julian Rinaldi Photography is a wedding & event photography studio, founded in Sydney, Australia.
What started as a personal visual diary — evolved into a passion for celebrations. With the influence of fashion, our work became less about composing scenes and more about documenting events that feel intentional, honest and timeless. As our work matured, so did the rooms it entered. With over 10 years of experience, we are humbled to be published on digital and print publications, including — VOGUE, GQ, Harper's Bazaar, The Wed, WHO Magazine & more. Beyond weddings, we've had the privilege of capturing high-profile events and collaborating with brands, creatives and public figures whose worlds demand precision and confidence.
Today, this passion sits at the intersection of fashion and romance. We work with a limited number of commissions each year, capturing weddings across the world on digital and film.
How far in advance should we book?
We accept a limited number of weddings each year. For Sydney peak season — October through April — most dates fill nine to twelve months ahead. Earlier is safer.
Do you travel?
Yes. Sydney is home, and we photograph interstate and internationally on commission. From July 2027 we run a dedicated European summer block — July through August — for weddings across Italy, France and beyond. Travel is quoted separately to the package.
How many images do we receive?
The number isn't fixed — we deliver every frame that earns a place in the gallery. As a guide, an eight-hour wedding typically yields four to six hundred finished images. We over-shoot, then edit hard.
When do we receive our gallery?
The full gallery is delivered within six to eight weeks. Add Wedding Previews for a studio-curated edit of fifty to one hundred frames within one to two business days, or Priority Edit for the full gallery in one to two weeks.
Do you shoot on film?
Yes, as an addition alongside the digital. Twenty-five to fifty frames per wedding, on Portra-400 by default. Pricing varies by stock; available with any package.
Do we receive the raw files?
We don't release raw files. The edit — colour, sequencing, restraint — is part of the work. You receive a finished gallery in colour and black & white, sequenced as a complete story.
What secures the date?
A signed contract and a deposit. Until both are received, the date is held informally and offered first-come.
